ncc camp feast 2, my PC file!

hi guys! i'm finally here to blog again! lol. finally got the time to do so.sorry had not been updating. hmm shall talk about JJ Orientation Camp 2 and NCC Camp Feast 2 that ended just yesterday.


26th to 29th Feb

it was Orientation Camp 2 (O2) for the 2nd intake into JJC! and i'm an Orientation Group Leader (OGL) attached to OG 5! being an OGL was really tiring but overall, it was still very fun! on the 26th was admin day and it was rather slack but i didn't really sleep much at night due to the making of the OG gifts. hahah. then came 27th and it was camp day 1! for your information, in the camp, i'm also food attached, meaning i had to prepare the food for the campers for every single meal. well back to start of day 1, didn't really know my OG members yet. what type of people are they? i kept asking. but, they turned out to be real nice and fun people! most of the time i didn't get to be with OG 5 as i had to prepare meals about every one and a half hour. cant mix with my OG alot and thats the thing i felt really sad about. had water games mainly for 27th and 28th. on 27th night, there was Song Singing Session and it really touched me when OG 5 members thank me and i felt really glad and felt so appreciated! (: on the 28th, the most significant event was JJ Night! Family 1's performance rocks luh! though i did screw up a little bit i hope i didn't spoil the overall dance :x hmm thinking back, my OG are really warm towards me though i dont see them much! THANK YOU OG 5! have to thank everyone for being so nice and my fellow OGLs who helped me alot during the camp. i'm so sorry couldn't be with you guys all the time due to my other commitments during the camp duration. loads of thanks to everyone! INCLUDING SHADOWS AND FAMILY 1! after the camp, i went for PAE 08s09 class gathering to celebrate valerie and mr yeo's bday! was really fun and mr yeo treated us to drinks! so nice! too bad, i'm no longer in his civics class, will elaborate later. after that chatted with my classmates for a very long time, talking about o2 and stuff (: love it ;D


1st March

was resting day for me! slept 15 hours and woke up around 2+ pm! hee, i can pig ;D had a great rest at home luh...the next day was yet another camp for me! oh goodness!!!


2nd to 4th March

T_T booked into Amoy Quee Camp on the 2nd of March for NCC Camp FEAST 2'08 at around 2000hrs. went there as an instructor instead of a camper and felt really weird at first. 2nd March was just briefing and admin day for instructors and there was no campers. we had alot of fun after briefing and ordered mac delivery at 12 midnight! slept real late cause i stayed up playing games on the laptop with shannon ong ._. i was appointed as the PC for Platoon 4, named Zulu 04. FYI, PC is Platoon Commander and not Parade Commander. lol. there were 6 platoons in total during the camp and 3 platoons formed one company. the 2 companies are named Yankee and Zulu, to say the truth, Zulu 04 was a great challenge for me. Some Part B (Sec 2) cadets are really hard to handle. and being an instructor for the first time for my first camp in HQNCC did really pose a tough test for me. was really shocked that i was given the post as a PC but really glad luh :D had two Assistant PCs from my batch of officers' (54th batch) to assist me. there were Cadet Officers Zhan Feng and Akmal Ali. thanks for their help, really. without them i would have gone mad by the end of the camp. i had never imagined how difficult it was to handle part B cadets who tend to be more immature. i'm not trying to insult or criticize them but that is in my perspective and view. however, not all part B cadets are immature. some are already ready to become leaders and sometimes it's lucky to have them in my platoon to lessen my load of problems. Cohesion Night on Day 1 (3rd March) was quite a success and it was my first time standing on stage in front of a huge crowd teaching cheers! it was really a great experience for me. and leading all the cheers made me feel sooo good. "I FEEL GOOD, OH I FEEL SO GOOD, AR! OH I FEEL SO, OH I FEEL SO, OH I FEEL SO GOOD, AR AR AR!" tuahgt the cadets this cheer as well. yay, thanks to JJ orientation that i am what i am today. full of cheers in mind :D after the camp at about 4+ on 4 th March, went to Causeway Point to have dinner with the others and went home after that. felt extremely exhausted. slept only at 12am ):


Today

i'm very very tired and sleepy. VERY. hah, it was great to be in school again today. while going to school in the morning, saw geraldine and kaiyan but didn't have chance to talk to them cause the bus was packed. then when i reached school, so many warm-hearted people greeted me with a hi and it brightened my day (: had my lessons til 1 pm and after that was cca open house! during the cca open house were the OGLs performance cum mass dance during verbal nuggets. couldn't find kahpoh around during that time and so i did not participate in the Family 1 dance. so sorry! but laughed throughout watching them dance cos it was really entertaining! F1! lols... then came mass dance and we were supposed to dance pump it. was standing there and kenyi pulled me to dance with him. (HAHHAHAHAHHA!) both of us are boys luh and we always have to do this cos we couldn't find any female dance partners ): luckily kaiyan came up to me and danced with me. and i pangsehed kenyi in the confusing and chaotic situation :X SO SORRY! after that was F2 performance and then came another mass dance, Five Colours In Her Hair ! Finally found kahpoh and danced with her. hahah. very fun luh. then went for cca open house and signed up for 5 CCAs. OMGOMG lah! ._. i had to sign up for slack CCAs cos i already have NCC as external CCA. hmm, but during the open house i wasn't thinking and i signed up for 5 CCAs! LOL. Interact Club, Entrepreneur Club, Yoga Club, Modern Dance and Choir. Shit man, i have delete some of my choices luh. will consider again. after cca open house, went home with buddies on 157, chuharn and daojun. tmr's gonna be rotting day for me! and im admitted to class 08S20 T_T have no friends there except for a primary school fren which hardly talk now, two sec school friends and one ex-F1 member. )))))))))))))))): oh, and mr yeo takes charge of 08s11 now! haii... sian. hope people in 08s20 are gonna be friendly luh ;D
